About us

The idea behind Death Disco Productions has been growing within ourselves for many years, but it wasn’t until the summer of 2016 we decided to act upon in and give it life.

Disappointed that certain bands and music styles never reached Stockholm, or not even Scandinavia, we started with just inviting our favourite bands to perform. This quickly turned into something that we were not expecting to grow so fast and we went from doing sold out cellar/basement club gigs to planning arena events within the course of a few weeks.

The company is based in Stockholm, but we are actively organizing gigs across Sweden, Denmark and Norway. We do not have a target audience simply because we do not limit ourselves to booking only certain music styles.

Death Disco Productions is a small group of ambitious and hardworking people, willing to do their outmost to ensure that the ticket buyer gets the best possible concert experience.

One of our goals is to establish Stockholm in its righteous place on the international live music scene and festival map. We believe that with events such as Stockholm Slaughter, Cold Meat Industry Festival, Waves of Darkness we have come a good way on the bumpy concert promoter road, especially considering that our events have so far, altogether attracted people from more than 62 different countries to Stockholm.

We stand firmly for artistic freedom and as much as we embrace extreme music genres, as much we disdain any political agendas, especially extreme ideologies of all types. We believe music unites people, regardless gender, colour, language or other cultural boundaries. We also want to make sure that all potential fans including those with any disabilities are welcome to join our events. For this reason alone we offer free entrance for those that accompany a person with physical disabilities. Keep in mind that all the venues that we are working with offer both  wheelchair adapted ramps, adapted toilets as well special parking places for people with physical disabilities. 

We are determined to enrich and widen the Scandinavian live music scene. We are never satisfied and we’re constantly trying to outdo ourselves. With every new successful event we’re just aiming higher and higher. Our love and passion for music knows no boundaries and thus our possibilities are unlimited.
